So, I went on the swing also- oh and it was fun!!! Thankfully nobody took a picture and it was still in working order when I finished.

New member of the family

We are diligently going through names- Louie, Ricky, Miller, Miles, Remi, Charles, Newton...... how to decide!!! Isn't he the cutest!!!!! He is a mut- Daddy is a boston terrier and mother dachshund/jack russell. We have had him home for almost two hours now and no accidents. I think he is getting accustomed to us!! The kids just love him - I was worried about Rilea but she just wants him to sit on her lap all the time!!

Labor of love

My wonderful husband spent the past 3 days putting up this play set by himself for the kids. He is now paying for it and had to make a trip to the doctor and get a shot this morning but hasn't yet found any relief. We sure to love him and his sacrifice.

Twlight Series

Have you read the Twilight books??? I picked the book up at Wal-mart just for something to read. Well I turned into a monster- I couldn't put the book down. It's a 500+ page book and I read it in 3 days. Get this.......when I finished this book it has a preview of the next book in the series and I lost my mind wanting to know what happened. During my lunch hour at work the day after I finished the book(finished reading before I went to sleep) I went to the bookstore and picked up the next book- on my way back to work at the stop lights I was reading the book!! I was addicted. I ready all 4 books in two weeks- book one and four were the best ones. I wish the author would finish the 5th book she started...........I miss Edward and Bella!!!

This was in our backyard and for a few minutes we were a little scared since it go so big!! Donnie was so proud though.

Mini vacation to Branson, MO

The family went went to Branson, MO this weekend. We left on Thurs morning and it took us about 7 hours to get there arriving about 4pm. It was raining and cold when we got there but that didn't stop us from getting out. After checking into our hotel we went to Montana Mike's Steakhouse to eat and then went to the Kirby and Bambi Vanburch show. The resturant was average but the show was fantastic. This guy is great with illusions!!! After a nights rest we were up and at 'em about 9am eating at IHop and then off to the Hollywood Wax museum -by the way it was a beautiful sunny day. Here is a pic from the museum.

This pic was taken with my phone because although I brought my camera the battery was not in it. Donnie has failed to tell me he had put it in the charger so this was the best we could do.

Out next event was sitting through a pitch to sell us timeshare property. This is really why we ended up going because we got the two nights for only $59 if was sat through this. It was wasn't bad and the property was beautiful but we didn't fall for it and Donnie was solid. So it's 3pm and we were looking for some fun- off to The Track. This place had a 3 story wooded go card track- Rilea was deathly scard so Ethan got to go twice- once with me and then with Donnie. Next was miniture golf for the family. I thought I was doing good until the very end - I ended up in a tie with Ethan. We went back to the hotel and the kids got in the indoor pool for a short time and then we got ready and went to Charlie's for dinner- all you can eat ribs for $11.99- it was really good. Friday night we went to see the Hamner & Barber variety show. It too was a good show and the kids loved it. Saturday we headed home broke but with lots of memories.
